S&ME’s Richmond office has an immediate opening for a Business Developer with experience in the A/E industry. Develop and oversee Virginia region marketing program, promote company image, create opportunities, and oversee and coordinate proposal development. Regular travel required through central VA, Hampton Roads and Northern VA. Individual is responsible for developing affiliations and teaming agreements with other professional firms and business organizations to generate new business. Excellent written and verbal communication, exceptional motivational and team building, attention to detail, the ability to lead overall administrative support of the marketing team, and the ability to work under pressure are critical skills. This is a full-time position reporting to the branch manager with competitive pay and benefits based on experience. Full-Time Proposal Specialist, Earth Tech, Richmond, VA

Earth Tech seeks a flexible and resourceful individual to be responsible for the coordination and organization of company proposals to various private firms and municipal government agencies. Based out of the Richmond office, you will coordinate with technical, management, and production personnel to strategize, research, write, and produce proposals, presentations, and other new business support material.

Completion of BA/BS degree preferably in Communications, Marketing, English or Journalism required. 8+ years experience in proposal management/writing required with some background with federal marketplace including work with SF 330s preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication, presentation skills, interpersonal and leadership skills also required. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and InDesign and have a working knowledge of desktop graphics software. Must be analytical with attention to detail, able to multi-task, and well organized. Flexibility to travel to other Earth Tech offices as needed. Previous work experience in architectural/engineering field a plus.
